Nancy Hardman has been painting in mostly watercolours, chalk pastels as well as pen and ink but is always excited to try different creative mediums.
Taking courses with many different artists such as watercolour with Linda Jenetti, Jean Hardy, William Band and Kai-Liis McInnes to pastels with Dave Beckett, and pen and ink with Linda McLaren to mention a few. NancyÆs specialty is creating nature and landscape paintings.
She has been involved in giving the community the chance to enjoy art through her art groups; from starting her own nature art group to being the President of the Orangeville Art Group.
After teaching night school to adults and children, she finds she enjoys her art but her true love in the teaching.

Nancy paintings express an eye for the constant conflict between nature and mankind. She feels people are forming a special bond of love with the animals and nature around them which is the first step to saving our wildlife. Nancy's ambition is to portray the peaceful serenity that can be found in nature and to pass the feeling onto others.
