Ray Noble Ray was born and raised in the industrial North East of England, an area of mining, shipyards and steelworks. This area also rich in the natural beauty of the rugged coast line, the Yorkshire moors and the adjacent Lake District, became a source of wonder and escape from the grime of the towns.
After moving to Canada with his wife and daughter his artwork flourished and his love of the natural world can be seen in his work. With no formal training, Ray is essentially self taught. His paintings of wildlife.landscapes, old barns as well as many commissioned works of peoples cats, dogs, and other pets can be found in many parts of the world. |
